Terms of Service

The terms on which Walker IT Support licenses iDentiCal Sync to your practice. Written in plain English, governed by the law of England and Wales.

Last updated: 20/05/2026  ·  Licensor: Walker IT Support

1. Agreement

These terms ("Terms") are a binding agreement between Walker IT Support, a sole-trader business based in Gateshead, Tyne & Wear, United Kingdom ("we", "us", "Walker IT Support") and the dental practice that purchases or trials a licence to use the iDentiCal Sync software ("you", "your practice"). By installing, activating, or using iDentiCal Sync you accept these Terms.

2. Definitions

  • Software means the iDentiCal Sync Windows application, including its Windows Service, tray app, and admin tools.
  • Licence means a perpetual right to install and use the Software at a single practice location.
  • Support & Updates Plan means the optional annual subscription described in section 6.
  • Location means a single physical practice address.

3. Licence grant

Subject to these Terms and your payment of the applicable Licence fee, we grant your practice a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the Software on one or more computers at a single Location, for the internal business purpose of synchronising OpenDental appointments to Google Calendar.

Multi-clinic practices require one Licence per Location. Volume discounts are available for three or more Locations — see contact.

The Licence is perpetual: once purchased, your right to use the version of the Software you installed does not expire. Support and updates are governed separately by section 6.

4. Price & payment

  • The current Licence price is £249.99 (one-time) per Location, inclusive of UK VAT where applicable.
  • The optional Support & Updates Plan is £49.99 per year per Location.
  • Payment is taken at the point of purchase via our payment processor. Invoices are available on request.

5. Trial & money-back guarantee

iDentiCal Sync includes a 14-day free trial. No payment is required to install or evaluate the Software during the trial period.

If you purchase a Licence and decide within 30 days of purchase that iDentiCal Sync is not right for you, contact sales@identicalsync.com and we will refund the Licence fee in full. This 30-day money-back guarantee is in addition to any rights you have under UK consumer law.

6. Support & updates

The Support & Updates Plan is entirely optional. While the Plan is active you receive:

  • All feature updates and compatibility patches we release.
  • Priority email support, responded to within 2 UK business days.

If you let the Plan lapse, your installed Software continues to work — there are no "plugin expired" lockouts. You may renew the Plan at any time at the then-current price. Renewing after a lapse does not back-charge for the missed period.

7. Permitted use

You may:

  • Install the Software on any number of computers within a single Location.
  • Configure up to five (5) sync targets per Licence — for example, five dentists, hygienists, or other providers, each syncing to their own Google Calendar.
  • Make a reasonable number of backup copies of the installer for internal use.

If your Location has more than five providers, contact sales@identicalsync.com and we'll work out the right arrangement for you.

8. Restrictions

You may not:

  • Resell, sublicense, rent, lease, lend, or otherwise distribute the Software to any third party.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software, except to the extent that such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
  • Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices in the Software.
  • Use the Software to operate a calendar-sync service on behalf of third parties unaffiliated with your Licensed Location.
  • Use the Software in breach of any applicable law, including data-protection law.

9. Intellectual property

The Software, all updates, and all related documentation remain the intellectual property of Walker IT Support. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the Software or any related intellectual property to you. We retain all rights not expressly granted.

10. Warranties & disclaimers

We warrant that during the 30-day money-back period, the Software will substantially perform as described on this website. Your sole remedy for breach of this warranty is a refund of the Licence fee under section 5.

Beyond the warranty above, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, the Software is provided "as is" and we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every configuration of OpenDental or Google Calendar.

11. Website content

The information published on identicalsync.com and any related Walker IT Support marketing or documentation pages is provided for general information only. We take reasonable care to keep it accurate and up to date, but we do not warrant that any page is free of typographical errors, omissions, or out-of-date statements, and the website may from time to time describe features, prices, or behaviour that have since changed.

Specific commitments we make to you are limited to the Software warranty in section 10, the trial and refund commitments in section 5, and any written terms exchanged on a specific purchase. To the maximum extent permitted by law, no statement on the website by itself creates a warranty or contractual obligation, and we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on website content.

If you spot something on the site that looks wrong or out of date, please email support@identicalsync.com — we'll fix it.

12. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (c) any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to the above, our total aggregate liability to you under or in connection with these Terms, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, is limited to the total fees you have paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

In no event are we liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business opportunities.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Software at any time by uninstalling it from your computers — see the data deletion page. Termination of use does not entitle you to a refund except as provided in section 5.

We may terminate your Licence if you materially breach these Terms (in particular section 8) and fail to cure that breach within 30 days of written notice. On termination for breach, you must uninstall the Software.

14. Data & privacy

Our handling of personal data is governed by the Privacy Notice, which forms part of these Terms. In summary: iDentiCal Sync runs entirely on your hardware, we do not host your data, and we treat appointment data as special category data under UK GDPR.

15. Independence

iDentiCal Sync is an independent product of Walker IT Support. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OpenDental Software Inc. or Google LLC. OpenDental is a registered trademark of OpenDental Software Inc. Google Calendar and Google Workspace are trademarks of Google LLC. iDentiCal Sync connects to these products via their published APIs.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be notified by email to the contact on your account. Continued use of the Software after a material change constitutes acceptance.

17. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, except that we may bring proceedings against you for breach in any jurisdiction where you are based.
